Is Katarzyna The Chris Daughtry of America's Next Top Model.

While it was true that Katarzyna took some bad photos last night, I'm not convinced that she should have been sent home. Normally she takes beautiful shots and manages to stand out up against the others. I think she has a kind of Eastern European look, which is really what the high-fashion industry is right now. She may have been sent home but I doubt that we have seen the last of Katarzyna Dolinska.

Here is my take on the remaining contestants of America's next top model:

Dominique - I don't think that Dominique can win.....she has some masculin traits and the lines in her face make her look older than she is. Okay, maybe the last episode showed that she can pose, but she still looks like a tired soccer mom every time she shows up at panel. Plus the girl has been repeatedly portrayed as obnoxious and crazy.

Fatima - Here's another one who doesn't look like a model at every panel. And the tears are getting kinda old. "I'm in the bottom two!" "I got called first!" "I don't have my important papers even though every cast of Top Model goes overseas and I should have known better!" Even after missing the entire shoot she managed to get through to the next round. I was pleasantly surprised, though, that after a bad week she pulled it out of the toilet and posed well for Tyra's camera. She is a beautiful girl and she just needs to focus a little more on the ultimate goal.

Whitney - I like Whitney - her face is beautiful. I think she comes across as fake because, as the competition's only plus-size model, she's trying a lot harder than the others and ends up going overboard sometimes. I also don't think that dying her hair blonde has helped. She looked better with dark hair and at least she didn't fit into the stereotypical blonde bubble then. She can't win.

Anya - She's the only one with anything remotely close to a winner's edit. She's doing well in challenges and almost always poses well and has good pictures. The only negative comment I've seen about her was the fact that she's a little vacant, she doesn't seem to have any personality.

The Prom, in a girl’s perspective, must be one of the highlights and memorable events in her teenage life. It’s all about over-preparing, dressing up really pretty in elegant formal wear, dancing the perfect night away, with a date, or with friends. It’s all about being a princess for a night.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE PROM...

The high school prom is a tradition. Whether it's located at a fancy country club or in a high school gym, the prom is the main dance of the year and a special night for all involved. Learn how to properly prepare for the high school prom so you can relax and enjoy your evening.

Step 1:
Secure tickets for the prom. Purchase tickets for the dance in advance if necessary or set aside money to buy them at the door.

Step 2:
Choose your attire. Buy a prom dress that matches your style and budget. Find appropriate shoes and accessories to compliment your dress. A tuxedo can be purchased, but is usually rented. Call formal wear shops in your area to find out about rental specials. Ask your date some information about attire. A guy needs to know the colors in his date's dress to match a corsage; a girl needs to know what type of tuxedo her date is wearing to order an appropriate boutonnière.

Step 3:
Make reservations for dinner if the prom venue isn't serving a meal. Choose an appropriate place with a more formal setting. Call the restaurant in advance; popular restaurants book quickly on prom night.

Step 4:
Set up transportation for prom night. If using your own vehicle or your parent's car, fill the gas tank, clean out the interior and wash the exterior. If you'd rather arrive at prom in a limousine or another luxury vehicle, secure the rental well in advance for a better selection and price.

Step 5:
Call your salon for an appointment as salons book fast, especially if many schools have prom on the same night. Have a list of backup salons in case your first choice is booked.

How to Handle a Mother-in-Law

It's said that you don't marry a person, you marry a family. Just as your own family has its complexities and uniqueness, so will your spouses. The challenge is getting to know how to handle each member in your spouse's family, including your mother-in-law.

Step 1:
Listen. Be open to getting to really know who your mother-in-law is. The more you get to know her, the more you'll understand her likes and dislikes, where the two of you are likely to mesh well, and where you may tend to have differences of opinion.

Step 2:
Reach out to your mother-in-law from the very beginning. Show her how much you love your spouse, and how happy you are to be a part of the family. Your interest will emit a friendly, welcoming attitude.

Step 3:
Be careful complaining about your mother-in-law to your spouse. Remember that it's difficult to hear negative things about your own parents, and what may only seem like venting to you may be very hurtful to your spouse. You do not want to come between your spouse and your mother-in-law.

Step 4:
Establish yourself as part of the family and not an outsider. For some people, accepting someone new can be difficult. Make your mother-in-law feel comfortable around you by asking her personal questions and showing genuine interest in your shared family.

Step 5:
Demand respect. You should never feel the need to take disrespect from someone, including someone in your family. Stand up for yourself if you feel this is the case.

Step 6:
Accept your mother-in-law as a part of your life and family, whether or not you have a close personal relationship.

The Best Look for Your Face Shape.

When designing formal updos, hairstylists use your facial shape and features as a guide to what will be most flattering. Here are some basic rules to keep in mind:

OVAL: This most proportional of facial shapes gives you lots of freedom. When selecting an updo, decide which features you'd like to play up or down. For instance, to show off great eyes, select a 'do with brow-skimming fringe. Or, to spotlight a porcelain complexion, sweep hair completely off the face.

ROUND: Soft curls at the top of your head provide an instant "face lift", while height at the top of a round face will elongate it. Side-swept bangs have a slenderizing effect and help direct attention to the eyes.

SQUARE: Offest stong lines with softness and curves. A half-up style with loosely curled locks falling past the chin could be just the thing. Or let sides come slightly forward to divert attention from the jaw area.

HEART: Try a partial updo that pairs below-the-chin texture with a back twist. If you want to wear hair p in curls, direct them over to one side from a deep part, letting a few strands escape to the forehead.
